Last week we attended the BC Cannabis Summit in Kelowna. During the three-day event presented by the BC Craft Farmers Co-op (BCCFC) and the Association of Canadian Cannabis Retailers (ACCRES), we were given the opportunity to learn from industry experts, network, and participate in the trade show.

A Little about Beta Creations and Jordan Laird

Jordan’s interest sparked for pipe making started in the early 2000s. At the time, the internet started to build forums for cannabis and the art that accompanied it. Jordan began collecting glassware pieces and would travel to Vancouver to seek out unique pieces.

About a decade later as social media started picking up and Jordan was able to use social media to learn more about how to make glassware. He gathered information on what tools and materials were needed to produce the glass. Not long after, he got a small torch and kiln.

In the fall of 2017, Jordan started to work on Beta Creations and launched his company in January 2018.

Each piece he makes has a little card with details. The Wave Recycler Dab Rig, which we used in our giveaway is a new shape for 2022. The design is inspired by Jordan’s DUF recyclers.
