John Legend’s ‘Plus Products’ Ranked #1 in California

When we think of John Legend, we usually think of hit top hit, All Of Me which seemed to play at every wedding past 2013.

We don’t usually think of John Legend as being a top ranker in the CBD edibles market. But sure enough, the singer and songwriter also has a successful CBD gummies company called Plus Products.

According to Headset and BDS Analytics, Plus Products Ranked #1 Edibles Brand in California in Q3 2018. In addition to belting out soulful, chart-topping hits, John Legend has also been vocal on nationwide controversial cannabis laws.

John Legend, being a proud member of the cannabis community for quite some time voiced his thoughts on cannabis legalization back in 2013. He spoke with HuffPost Live about the need to legalize marijuana and discontinue prohibition. At the time, Colorado and Washington were the only two states to make recreational cannabis legal. When John made these statements, at the time he was seen as very bold. Reflecting on the past 10 years since he was vocal about his thought on cannabis, it’s crazy to think of how much has changed with regulations and legislation around cannabis in the United States.

Though there have been many positive changes within the past 10 years, we still have a long way to go.
