Here is your chance to get inspired, try new things, be creative, and build better dispensary menus using BudSense. We can’t wait to see how this THC, Balanced, and CBD Cannabis Oils digital menu inspires you to build a menu your customers will LOVE!

There has got to be a better way to help the Cannabis Oil customer

Cannabis Oil customers are often new to purchasing products from a dispensary.

They take extra time and staff attention to ensure they are comfortable and satisfied with their purchase.

This oftentimes leads to lengthy discussions about cannabis oil products such as THC, CBD, and Balanced Oils with little to no visual cues to support the explanation.

The basic packaging and heavy regulations confuses customers. Most people are visual learners and a list of products that they’ve never seen before described with words they have never heard can be very confusing and may result in a customer leaving with an undesirable product that does not fit their needs.

There has got to be a better way to serve your customers.

Dispensary Digital Menus for Cannabis Oils

Communicate to your new customers with something that doesn’t read like a spread sheet 📄

BudSense believes your cannabis oil dispensary menus should be functional and informative! Your menu should visually educate and inform customers on what’s available so the customer can understand the products that best suit their needs.

Here is an example of a category menu theme, available in the BudSense app, that was customized specifically with the cannabis oil customer in mind.

For this digital menu design, we used three different methods to explain and communicate the difference between the types of products - Images, Titles, and Labels & Badges.

1) The Images (A.K.A “Purple Blobs”)

The “Purple Blobs” featured in the Image Cards beautifully depict the differences between THC and CBD. The combination of the two blobs, which represents Balanced Oils, works as an exemplary visual illustration to inform the customer that they can feel the effects from both the opposing cannabinoids.

This concept might seem silly or foreign at first glance. But that’s only because it’s breaking away from the norm of a stale list of products. People are visual learners- visual communication is vital to moving past confusing new language and turning on the light bulb for unfamiliar customers.

2) The Section Titles

The use of relatable, comprehensible language in the custom titles can help explain the different effects felt by THC, CBD, and Balanced Oils. The customer can develop a greater understanding of the different products when reading terms such as “uplifting” and “relaxation” as opposed to staring at three letters they may never have seen before.

By using these terms, the customer can imagine themselves using the products and envision how they will react to the products following consumption. This allows them to make a purchasing decision that will best meet their desired needs in terms they understand.

3) The Labels and Badges

The use of labels, and badges guide your customer into knowing what they can expect from their chosen cannabis oil. For example, in the CBD Cannabis Oil menu design, the customer can see and understand that the products on the menu will likely make them sleepy and enter a zen mode.

This is shown visually through the use of common emojis. If the customer is looking for a product specifically to help them sleep, this badge acts as a decision-making shortcut.

The use of labels can also result in decision-making shortcuts. As seen in the THC Cannabis Oil menu design, a customer can see that the Northern Dew” is a highly regarded product. The customer sees that others, like them, are purchasing this product and assumes it is a “Top Seller” for good reasons.

“Oil bet your customers will love these menus!” 🛢️

That was a terrible pun. 🤮👎

Either way, we want your customers to get a better understanding of the cannabis products, what’s available in your dispensary, and feel delighted about making their purchase. We want to make selling weed easy and fun for you so you can sell more weed.
