Don’t Let Cannabinoids Go Unnoticed on Your Cannabis Menu
Without the right tools, cannabis merchandising is hard. There is a vast amount of information you can communicate about each product including plant type, size, weight, cannabinoid percentages, price, effects, flavour, terpenes, and more!
With all these all this product information it can be overwhelming to decide what you want your customers to notice on your menus.
With dynamic columns, you have the ability to tune your menus to only display the most valuable information to your customers. They also give you the opportunity to highlight the product information you want your customer’s eyes on. This can be done by adding style options to your dynamic columns.
In this blog, we will present some of the ways your can edit your menus with the BudSense Dynamic Columns feature.
Adding Style to your Columns
Style options include background color, text color, and opacity can be adjusted and tailored to fit your brand.
To add styles to your columns make sure the default state of the column you wish to stylize is turned on - Within a menu section, click on column options and then click on the column style options dropdown to open the editable field to adjust the background color, text color, and opacity.
*Some menu themes don’t allow for these additional style options in dynamic columns.
Highlight where you want your customers attention
Highlighting Cannabis Strain Type on your Menu
In these examples, we used Mary Jane themed product menus to show you how you can add style to the cannabinoids column on your menu. We put color over where we wanted the customer’s attention to go - the cannabinoids. We used the same color in a lower opacity as the section titles, which further visually differentiates the strain types on your product menus in each section. By highlighting this column, your customers will pay more attention to the strain type and will be able to differentiate the products to make informed purchasing decisions.
This is one simple example of how you can add color and stylization to your menus to capture the customer’s attention. But, adding style to your menu doesn’t stop here.
